Under the supervision of the principal or designee, perform a wide variety of entry-level security services at District high schools, junior high schools and other sites to ensure the safety of persons, protect property of various kinds, maintain order, and enforce rules and regulations governing student conduct.

DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the principal or designee, perform a wide variety of entry-level security services at District high schools, junior high schools and other sites to ensure the safety of persons, project property of various kinds, maintain order, and enforce rules and regulations governing student conduct.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: This is a single classification series.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Patrol assigned portions of campus and/or parking lot before, during and after school hours, on foot and in campus vehicles. E
- Operate a two-way radio and report incidents to district administration and appropriate law enforcement agencies as directed. E
