Summary
Assists nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Performs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Job Description
Assist with clinical duties as delegated within roles and responsibilities, personalized training and competency, and needs of specific ambulatory setting. Assists with taking vital signs. Maintains stock of medical supplies needed for registered nurse or physician. Complies with all patient duties assigned. The Nursing Assistant serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. Administer delegated tasks and treatments. Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
