Job Summary
The substitute position will fill in for a paraprofessional who works as a General Education, Bilingual, Mild/Moderate, or Moderate/Severe Special Education Paraprofessional. The Paraprofessional Substitute will be working alongside a certificated teacher at all times and will assist with students, as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualified candidates should hold an AA degree/60 units of college work OR satifactorily pass the District provided Paraprofessional Exam.

Pay is assessed at Step 1 of the Range of the position for which services are being provided:
- General Education Paraprofessional - Range 2 - $18.42/hour
- Bilingual Paraprofessional - Range 4 - $19.35/hour
- Special Education Paraprofessional - Mild/Moderate - Range 4 - $19.35/hour
- Special Education Paraprofessional - Moderate/Severe - Range 7 - $20.84/hour
Comments and Other Information
Offer of Employment will be contingent on the following:
- Negative TB Test
- Successful DOJ fingerprint/screening
- Physical Test
- Negative Drug Screen
