Food Service Worker II - Coleville Schools

Job Summary

Part-time, 8 hour/day 5 days

Works under the direction of the business manager and school principal and is responsible for all aspects of the school cafeteria operation, including:

• ordering and inventory,
• training personnel and student workers,
• preparation and serving of meals,
• sanitation and cleanliness,
• record keeping and reporting.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and training equivalent to high school graduation is required.

• Two years of paid experience in preparation and serving of large quantities of food or equivalent is

desirable.

• Work record demonstrating reliability, responsibility, and good work habits.
• Demonstrate good health, cleanliness, and freedom from communicable disease.
• Successfully pass district proficiency exam.
• Successfully pass food safety course within one year of employment.
