Job Summary
Provide services to students, staff, and families with social-emotional and/or behavioral needs in self-contained VCOE-operated schools and programs under appropriate clinical supervision. Implement a multi-faceted social-emotional and behavioral response system, including individual and group counseling and social work services. Observe students and collect and analyze data to support social-emotional and behavioral interventions and student plans. Participate in team meetings, including end-of-day debriefs, daily collaboration, staff meetings, Student Review Team meetings, case conferences, and Individualized Education Program meetings. Provide consultation, training, and support to staff on positive behavior supports and social-emotional and behavioral strategies, including trauma-informed practices, restorative practices, and cognitive behavioral approaches.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must possess a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related field that qualifies the individual for an associate registration listed below. …
