Job Summary
The position that you are applying for has been designated by the District as requiring an ASCC (Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate). This certificate is required by the State of California for all employees that are alone with students and do not have any type of credential. The cost of the certificate is paid upfront by the employee (credit or debit card) and you will be reimbursed the cost by the District. You will also be required to get your fingerprints done for the certificate at no cost to you (the applicant hired for this position will take care of this process with Personnel Services).
Job Description / Essential Elements
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Supervise and monitor the behavior of students who are outside of
class and at school sponsored activities both on and off campus.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regularly patrols campus including restrooms or other
problem areas during school hours providing general
supervision of students outside of class.
2. Establishes rapport with faculty and students in order to
gain their trust and confidence.
