Job Summary
The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is currently recruiting Substitute Paraeducators for our Regional Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing (D/HH) Total Communication Program for the school year. This position provides instruction on various subjects to DHH students, under the guidance and direction of a DHH classroom teacher. Paraeducators in our program use sign language, finger spelling, and total communication skills in instruction and communication with D/HH students and may provide interpretation/translation services in non-academic classes and extracurricular activities.
