Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants MUST meet the proficiency requirement in any one of the following ways:
- Complete 48 semester or 72 quarter college units (SEE NOTE BELOW)
- Hold an AA or higher degree (SEE NOTE BELOW)
- Pass the CBEST
- Pass the District’s “Every Student Succeeds Act” test
PLEASE NOTE: If you have completed college or university coursework in an institution in a country other than the United States, you MUST obtain a FOREIGN TRANSCRIPT EVALUATION.
*Additional requirements for Paraeducator - Autism Specialist supporting the Transitions program - Pre-Employment Drug Clearance, Current DMV H6 Driving History Report, Valid Driver’s License, ongoing Random Drug Testing.
