Bus Driver-Transportation Utility

Job Summary

Under supervision of the Director of Transportation, Bus Driver/ Transportation Utility employees operate a school bus over designated routes transporting students and performs various other tasks as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Current employees interested for a promotion should apply on Edjoin and provide a SIGNED letter of Introduction/Intent and three (3) SIGNED three letters of recommendation.

All signatures must be physical signatures. No electronic signatures will be accepted.
Drive a CNG or diesel-powered school bus daily over designated routes in accordance with time schedules, picking up and discharging school children. Must be able to maintain good order on bus routes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-High School Diploma or equivalent.
LICENSING:

• Possession of a valid and appropriate California Class A or B Commercial Driver’s license- Endorsed for Passenger and School Bus.
• School Bus Special Certificate.
