State Preschool Special Program Aide

Job Summary

Under the supervision of certificated personnel, assists in the instruction and supervision of students in a preschool setting performing a variety of supportive duties.

Under the supervision of certificated personnel, assists in the instruction of students with special needs (i.e. special education, remedial reading, math, etc) performing a variety of supportive duties.

High School diploma AND a minimum of 6 units in Early Childhood/Child Development (12 units preferred) with a grade of “C” or better AND one-year experience in a child care/preschool program.
Possess a recognized Child Development Permit or Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain one). …
