This position supports our Orthopedic & Eye Surgical Services. The RN will review patients requirements for surgery, complete phone interviews, and work with anesthesia services to ensure patients are optimized for surgery.
Shifts are Monday through Friday. Start times are flexible starting between 07:00-09:00am. 8 hour shifts. Days off during the week vary.
This position is in-person and located at our South University hospital in Fargo, ND.
Summary
Answers patient inquiries over the telephone, assessing the severity of the patient's symptoms and medical needs according to triage algorithms.
Job Description
Guides the patient to the appropriate level of care; schedules patient appointments over the phone with appropriate healthcare providers/facilities/physicians.
