Job Summary
San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for Para-Educators I Extended Day (teachers assistants) to work in our after-school program.
Roving/various sites (4.5 hrs/day) 3 positions 4.5 hrs/day M,T, TH, F - 2pm to 6pm, & Wednesdays - 11:30am to 6pm
Roving/various sites (6.5 hrs/day) 1 position 6.5 hrs/day M,T,W,Th,F - 11:30am to 6pm
Roving/various sites (8 hours/day) 2 positions 8 hours/day M,T,W,Th,F, 7am - 8:30am; 11:30am - 6pm
Definition:
Under general supervision, to assist teacher in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance; to provide instructional support and learning enrichment, using developmentally appropriate practices and materials; to monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in the physical care and feeding of children; and to perform related work as required.
