Summary
The caregiver provides in-home care to individuals who have difficulty performing basic day-to-day activities by assisting with personal care, administering medication, and providing companionship.
Job Description
The caregiver plans and follows a daily care schedule with clients, modifies care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and reports on any new conditions or needs that may arise.
Assists with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating. Follows a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication. Ensures the clients' home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. May be expected to complete some light housework. …
