Requirements / Qualifications
[License, Certificate and Testing Requirements:]
1. Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or documentation verifying completion of a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training program from a qualified provider within the last 90 days.
3. Candidates who do not possess an AA/ AS degree, or a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university must successfully pass an approved Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test with a score of seventy percent (70%) or higher in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics.
4. May be required to possess a valid California driver’s license and maintain insurability.
5. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County.
6. Transport students from time to time as required, in a county office vehicle.
