Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Neuro Stepdown

• 3 12 hour shifts weekly
• 7am-7pm
• Four weekend shifts per 6 week scheduling period

The Nursing Assistant I performs designated basic patient care and related nursing tasks to provide optimal/quality care consistent with Hospital mission and Nursing philosophy, goals, standards, and bylaws. Assists the Licensed Nurse in the implementation of nursing care in predictable, uncomplicated, and stable patient situations as directed.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED General Studies
• Successful completion of an applicable state Board of Nursing Aide I approved training program/competency evaluation
• Nurse Aide I Registration Division of Facility Services Nurse Aide I Registry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Job Specific Duties:

• Patient Observation: Observes and reports the patient's general appearance/behavior/response to basic care, procedures, and treatments. Observes characteristics of patient's urine, stool, and drainage and reports abnormalities/changes. …
