Job Summary
DEFINITION
Under direction from an assigned supervisor, performs a variety of instructional, tutorial and
administrative support functions to assist a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to
individual or small groups of students in a variety of subjects; develops and assists in the
preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; implements and presents
behavior modification programs; perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional
personnel; serves school staff and administration as a resource aide and liaison to students and
families; performs related work as required.

HBUHSD is recruiting for Instructional Assistant. This is an Open and Promotional recruitment. To fill positions at sites including but not limited to Ocean View HS, Valley Vista HS, and Westminster High School; and to create an eligibility list for future vacancies. Some positions may require that the candidate be biliterate in Spanish or Vietnamese.
