Job Summary
Under the supervision of the site administrator, the Paraprofessional I assists with the supervision of students in various settings and the preparation of instructional materials. Supervision of students may occur at recess, during lunch, in the kindergarten or physical education class, at the car drop-off and pick-up lines, etc. Paraprofessional I employees who are assigned to assist teachers in transitional kindergarten (TK), kindergarten or physical education classes will receive direction from the teacher. At the time of posting, there are known vacancies for supervision and TK aides. Interviewees may be asked about their willingness to work as substitute paraprofessional I employees.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Previous Experience: Experience in working with students or youth groups.
2. Education: Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade.
3. Training: First aid and CPR certifications are desirable.
Work Calendar:
3.75 hours per day, with work hours falling between 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applicants must be available to work the same hours all five days. …
