Job Summary
La Cañada Unified School District is seeking substitute custodians. The chief responsibilities of a custodian include keeping assigned building areas clean, sanitary, safe and orderly. The substitute custodian covers these responsibilities and performs other related duties as required for any permanent employee who may be absent.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications:
1. Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. Experience: Six months of experience in cleaning and maintaining building areas, preferably in a school setting, or any combination of training and experience that would provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
3. Licenses: Possession of a valid California Driver's License and the ability to qualify for District vehicle insurance coverage. Ability to obtain all required federal, state, and local licenses and/or certification as necessary for cleaning materials, equipment, etc.
