Job Summary
Under direction of a classroom teacher or program director, and the supervision of a school principal, provide instructional and non-professional support for students with disabilities. Provide intensified learning experiences in specialized programs and perform related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from secondary school or equivalent GED and one (1) year experience working with elementary school-age children in an organized educational, health, childcare, or other structured setting. Experience with children requiring a specialized learning environment is desirable.
Incumbents must meet requirements specified under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). …
