Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of Special Education, assist in the transportation of designated special needs educational students requiring continuous attention and care on buses. Recognize and meet the individual needs of the students being transported; and perform related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Completion of high school or General Education Diploma (GED).
Volunteer or paid experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Work with children with disabilities is desirable.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES
This is a promotional and open competitive recruitment. The examination may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test or performance test and a structured oral interview.
To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each section of the examination process. Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each test part. …
