Paraprofessionals assist our teachers and develop the next generation through a specialized curriculum. They work closely with the teacher in the assigned classroom and support them in their duties.
*Flexibility is key for this role*, as tasks may change from day to day. Typical activities include creating presentations, printing off homework sheets, working with students in groups and individually during lessons, watching students during recess, and creating progress notes and reports.
The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, and dedicated to the students’ success. They have a versatile skill set and a willingness to proactively look for ways to support the teacher. This position has full-time potential over time if you’re a good fit when an opportunity becomes available.
The Paraprofessional is accountable to the Principal. Assistance and supervision are the most crucial facets of a paraprofessional (known also as an Aide) job as they help teachers by supervising children in different educational institutions. …
