36 hour a week position supporting the primary care department at the Aurora Lake Geneva Health Clinic
(Internal Med, Family Med, Peds, Endocrinology, and Dermatology) clinics
Hours can vary depending on the operational need.
Pay Range:
$21.85 - $32.80
Major Responsibilities:
- Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice, follows all policies and procedures, and maintains training and competency based on area of specialty when providing patient care.
- Performs rooming/visit tasks such as vital signs, medication reconciliation, medical history, health maintenance, allergy review, and screenings (depression, suicide, falls, social drivers of health, etc.).
- Assists provider with or performs procedures as ordered.
- Performs lab related duties such as venipuncture, specimen collection/labeling/packing, preparation of lab orders/requisitions, and results tracking. Point of Care testing (POCT) per standing order/provider order. Completes Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) approved waived laboratory tests and practice-specific diagnostic testing in adherence to CLIA standards. …
