Job Summary

SUMMARY:
Works directly with an assigned classroom teacher(s) to assist in the Special Education instructional program.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent + two years of college OR
-High school diploma or equivalent + AA degree or higher OR
-High school diploma or equivalent + have a passing score of 70% on the District academic proficiency test
-Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
-Bilingual-biliterate English/Spanish desirable
-Experience working with students in a school or recreational setting desirable
-Experience working with students with special needs is desirable
-Experience working with parents desirable
