Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation, operates a designated district vehicle to transport a maximum of nine student passengers; assists in the loading/ unloading of passengers, including students with special needs; assists in keeping assigned vehicle in a clean and orderly condition; does related work as required. In accordance with established routes, time schedules, and district policies and procedures; maintains assigned vehicles in a safe and clean condition. Perform related duties assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Current and Valid California Driver’s Class “C” License
- Current First Aid and CPR and AED certification
- Possession of a valid California driver’s license, Class A or B with passenger endorsement within 6 months of hire.
- School bus driver’s certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol within 6 months of hire. …
