CONTINUOUS RECRUITMENTHOURLY POOL$65.00 HourlyLong Beach Community College District is seeking qualified individuals for Certified Interpreter positions possessing a Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf (RID) license or a National Association of the Deaf (NAD) IV certification. Incumbents, under general supervision, will act as a sign language interpreter/translator for deaf and hard-of-hearing students and/or faculty and staff for all classroom and job-related assignments and college sanctioned activities, using a variety of manual and verbal communication systems, with the ability to clearly and accurately present information and foster successful inclusion and interaction between the student, classmates, faculty/staff, and administrators. …
