Job Summary
This Campus Aide will primarily support with supervision of students during lunch, recess, supervision of transitions to classes, and clerical support for teachers and office staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
What you’ll Bring
Minimum:
- High school diploma required
- Ability to connect and build relationships with students and their families
- Ability to facilitate connections with students and faculty
- Experience working with at-risk youth a plus
- Proactive approach essential
Desired (but not required) in order of importance:
- Bachelor's Degree or college course units toward BA desired
- Strong oral and written communication skills including advocacy skills; fluency in Spanish highly desired
- Bilingual in Spanish or Korean preferred
Cognitive & Behavioral Competencies
- Must be able to analyze written, spoken, visual, and other sensory stimuli
- Must have ability to understand and analyze written and spoken English
- Must be able to cope effectively with stressful situations and time constraints
