Substitute Cafeteria Assistant
Position Summary
Under the direction of the designated supervisor, the Substitute Cafeteria Assistant supports daily food service operations by preparing and serving meals to students and staff, maintaining clean and sanitary food preparation and serving areas, and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety standards. Responsibilities include organizing food and supplies, monitoring food quality and temperatures, maintaining accurate service records, and assisting with other cafeteria duties as needed to support efficient school nutrition services operations. Substitute employees provide temporary staffing coverage based on operational needs and availability.
