Job Summary

Southern Humboldt Joint Unified School District is hoping to hire Food Service Assistant two days per week for 4 hour shifts.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively in the course of assigned duties.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percents and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to obtain a Food Safety Certificate issued by the Humboldt County Department of Health.
• Ability to work efficiently within restricted time frames.
• Knowledge of the proper operation and utilization of food service equipment.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Code regulations pertaining to food service operations. …
