DEFINITION

Under direct supervision of the cafeteria manager, to prepare and package school lunches for distribution within the district; and to do other related work as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Personnel in this classification may perform any combination of the essential duties shown below. • Assist in the preparation of vegetables and other foods for cooking
• Store food and kitchen related items as needed
• Scrape and wash dishes, utensils and trays
• Clean serving counters, preparation areas, food containers and other equipment
• Operate automatic dishwasher and washes trays, plates, utensils, and other serving equipment
