Job Summary

Under the direction of a program administrator, perform the necessary, non-clinical tasks to implement health policies and procedures while ensuring health compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards; and, provide health education information to teachers, parents, and children.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must be 18 Years of Age.
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of experience in health services, Head Start, State Preschool, or a related environment such as medical office or school nurse office.

• Valid Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) approved CPR and First Aid Certification covering adult, child, and infant (pediatric) using any of the following curricula:

• American Red Cross (ARC), or
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid offered at accredited colleges and universities.
