Job Summary
Duties include, but are not limited to outdoor interaction with and supervision of students during recess and lunch. In addition, this position serves as an instructional aide in the classroom, running small groups, circulating and managing students working in direct support of the teacher. This is a four hour a day, four day a week position.
Job Description / Essential Elements
3 hour per day position as playground proctor. Duties include but are not limited to supervising children during recess and lunch periods, ensuring playground rules are followed and all students are in a safe, secure environment. The position is for 180 days per year.
Requirements / Qualifications
An AA degree is preferred with continuing education credits in early childhood development, high school graduate or equivalent is acceptable. Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a D.O.J. clearance (fingerprinting), a negative TB test, and current First Aid/CPR documentation (or plans to receive First Aid/CPR training)
