Boeing Global Services is searching for a F/A-18 Super Hornet Avionics Technician to join the team at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, LA.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at NAS JRB New Orleans in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. This position may be required to work at Stennis Facility in Kiln, Mississippi as required
Position Responsibilities:
- Technician maintains the following: Aircraft avionics/electrical and associated equipment
- Remove and install avionics/electrical and related components and gear
- Perform Daily, pre and post flight and periodic aircraft inspections.
- Perform flight operation activities to include daily, turnaround, launch and recovery including plane captain activities
- Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. …
