Job Description / Essential Elements
The Instructional Assistant supports the classroom teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for primary students. Responsibilities include assisting students with academic activities, reinforcing classroom routines and expectations, providing individual and small-group support, supervising students, and assisting with transitions and classroom organization. The Instructional Assistant works collaboratively with the teacher and school staff to support the academic, social, emotional, and faith development of students.
