Job Summary
This is a recruitment for SUBSTITUTE (hourly) District Security Officer to cover short and long term absences.
Location: Various school sites
Hours: 6-8
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: Equivalent to one (1) year of full-time experience engaged in public or military law enforcement, plant security, etc., is required. Experience with adolescent groups involving discipline, safety and security is especially desired.
Education: Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent, is required. Course work in police science through a Community College or a Military Technical School is desirable.
SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS
A current license issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (A Guard Card) and a valid First Aid/CPR card are required. The ability to speak, read and write another language, such as Armenian and Spanish, is desirable. …
