Job Summary

The After School Program Lead is responsible for supporting the daily operation and coordination of an after school program at an assigned school site. The position provides leadership and direction to program staff, supports the implementation of engaging and age-appropriate academic and enrichment activities, and promotes a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for students.

The After School Program Lead works collaboratively with school-site administration, district staff, families, and program personnel to ensure the program operates effectively and in accordance with district policies, program requirements, and applicable regulations.

This position reports to the school site administrator.

Requirements / Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent; two years of higher education/Associate’s Degree or higher relating to education, or passage of a district academic assessment test; one year experience or work involving contact with children, preferably including knowledge of subject matter taught in the classroom.
