Van Driver - Transportation Department

Job Summary

The position of Van Driver is done for the purpose(s) of providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle operation is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from vans.

**This position reports to the Director of Transportation

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid CA Motor Vehicle Operator License, first aid certificate; DMV medical certificate; high school diploma or equivalent.

Criminal Background Clearance

Drug Test Clearance

Tuberculosis Clearance

Driving record required

The district is located on Interstate 8, in the southeastern mountains of San Diego County, approximately 35 miles east of El Cajon.
