Job Summary
Hours may include after school in our ELOP program
BASIC FUNCTION: Under direction of supervisor, assist in the instruction and supervision of individual or groups of students by performing a variety of instructional support activities related to an effective learning environment.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
- Follows teacher direction in working with individual or groups of students.
- Assist students with assigned work; listen to students read, answer questions, reinforce concepts, check work for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in administering formal and informal assessments.
- Supervise students to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Implement school-wide discipline policies.
- Performs other duties similar to the above in scope and function as required.
