Job Summary
The job of “School Bus Driver” is done for the purpose of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading.
Requirements / Qualifications
Licenses and Certificates Required: Valid California School Bus Special Driver Certificate California Driver’s License - Class B-P or above, Current Medical Certificate, First Aid Certificate, TB Test Clearance, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, Drug Testing Clearance
District is willing to train applicant to obtain bus driver license.
Comments and Other Information
Qualifications:
Experience - One year’s experience driving a school bus preferred.
Education Required - High school diploma or equivalent
