Job Summary
Richmond College Prep is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Instructional Aide to support students’ academic growth and positive behavior while contributing to a safe, respectful, and joyful school culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructional and Classroom Support
Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom routines, systems, and lessons
Provide small-group and one-on-one academic support
Assist with academic interventions, lesson reinforcement, enrichment, and differentiated instruction under the guidance of the classroom teacher
Help organize classroom materials and support the use of instructional technology
Reinforce classroom routines, schoolwide expectations, and positive student behavior
Support Homework Center and help students develop effective study habits
STUDENT SUPERVISION AND SUPPORT:
Lead student line-up procedures and transitions to and from classrooms, ensuring safety and adherence to school values
Supervise students during recess, lunch, transitions, and other school activities
Assist students with conflict resolution and restorative practices
Help maintain a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment
