Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist instructors in care, supervision and learning activities in the classroom and on the playground of preschool aged students.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with preschool aged children.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidates are required to have completed at least six semester units (or equivalent quarter units) in Early Childhood Education. Satisfactory completion of the California High School Proficiency Examination (Basic Skills Assessment Test).
A COMPLETE APPLICATION MUST MEET THE CRITERIA LISTED ABOVE AND MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ATTACHED:
- Resume
- One (1) current professional letter of recommendation dated within the last two years.
- An application filled out completely which includes the “Record of Work Experience/Employment History” and no blank spaces.
- College Transcripts: 6 semester units or equivalent quarter units of Early Childhood
