Job Summary

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The job of Instructional Assistant, Center Based-Infant/Toddler, Level III is done for the purpose(s) of assisting in the supervision and instruction of infants and toddler aged children; performing classroom clerical tasks; assisting children in meeting health and nutrition needs, developing daily living skills and developing children’s cognitive, physical and emotional skills.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Job related experience is desired

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent is required and completion of 12 core semester ECE/CD units and 3 semester units of Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Education/Child Development (ECE/CD) coursework, from a regionally accredited college/university

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENCES:

Valid California Food Handler’s Permit

Valid First Aid/CPR
