Job Summary
DEFINITION: Under supervision, to assist teachers in classroom and resource room operations and routing instructional support; to instruct and reinforce instruction of students individually and in small groups in accordance with instructions; to provide instructional record keeping support; to perform routine clerical duties; and to perform related work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual in Mandarin
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED equivalent and completion of two years of higher education studies (48 semester units) OR Possess an Associate of Arts degree, Associate of Science degree or higher degree AND Passed the Garvey School District Local Assessment (PTAP).
Examples of Duties:
Reinforce teacher lessons and encourage students; read with student and discuss what was read. Reinforce lessons and provide instruction and support to student with special needs; implement goals from the I.E.P. …
