POSITION
There is one (1) immediate vacancy for the position of Payroll Technician in the Fiscal Services Department, eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week, twelve (12) months a year, including benefits. Tentative hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The eligibility list is being established to fill current vacancies, hire substitutes and to fill future vacancies for the next six (6) months.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor performs complex technical payroll accounting and payroll-system work in the preparation, auditing, reconciliation, and maintenance of classified and certificated payrolls, including monthly, semi-monthly, hourly, supplemental, adjustment, and retroactive payroll transactions; ensures accurate and timely employee compensation; and resolves payroll, system, and data-integrity discrepancies. …
