Job Summary

The Behavior Technician (BT) plays a vital role in creating a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment where students can learn and thrive. This position supports the overall campus culture by reinforcing expectations, building relationships with students, and modeling Fortune’s Five Pillars.

Behavior Technicians help prevent and de-escalate conflicts, monitor campus safety, and work collaboratively with teachers and administrators to promote a respectful and orderly environment conducive to learning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Promote a positive school culture rooted in respect, accountability, and student success.
Build rapport with students to encourage appropriate behavior and engagement in school activities.
Supervise campus areas (hallways, classrooms, restrooms, multipurpose rooms, playgrounds, etc.) to ensure student safety.
Respond calmly and appropriately to behavioral incidents, applying restorative and supportive practices.
