Job Summary
Under direct guidance from certificated staff member or administrator, the Para-Educator I will perform a variety of instructional and clerical duties to support students' educational progress. May be assigned to work one-on-one with a student or groups of students in a variety of classroom settings to help students access the general education curriculum. Work is performed predominantly in classrooms or various parts of the school campus.
Requirements / Qualifications

- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
-Associate of Arts degree or higher required (must be attached to application) OR
-48 college semester units (Unofficial transcripts must be attached to application;
NOTE: Official transcripts will be required upon hire) OR
-Successfully complete the District’s online Para-Educator assessment
-Valid California Motor Vehicle Operators License
