NOON DUTY ASSISTANT
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assists in maintaining a safe and orderly environment, discipline, and student control during non-instructional periods; and performs related work as required.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Supervise students in assigned areas including cafeteria, lunch area, indoor assembly areas, outdoor eating areas, halls, restrooms, playground, buses or other vehicles, street crossing area, and at other assigned locations. E
Enforce safety, security, discipline, and activity rules assigned. Redirect students to more appropriate activities, when needed. E
Report problems or situations of a serious nature, including recurrent behavior problems and safety hazards, to principal or other appropriate certificated employee. …
