Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist in the overall activities of elementary-aged students in an Extended Student Services (ESS) program; assist in planning and designing activities; supervise students in classroom and outdoor activities.
Examples of Duties
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Assist in the preparation of daily program activities including materials and supplies; provide a safe, caring, positive and interesting learning environment; take attendance. E
Lead and supervise students in various indoor/outdoor activities including games, crafts, cooking, projects and related activities. E
Serve as role model and develop positive social behaviors of students according to established procedures; reinforce positive behaviors as appropriate and communicate inappropriate behaviors to Supervisor and parents E
Assure the health and safety of students by following health and safety practices and procedures; assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment. E
Perform a variety of duties including monthly calendar, recording attendance, bulletin boards, operating necessary equipment, and answering the phone.. …
