Job Summary
JOB TITLE: STUDENT TRANSPORTATION DRIVER - Substitute
REPORTS TO : Director of Facilities, or Facilities Manager who determines the bus routes and provides direction.
SUPERVISES: Student passengers
NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
The Student Transportation Driver transports students in a safe and efficient manner and performs all activities related to the operation of school vehicles. The Driver adheres, without exception, to all traffic laws while driving any and all school property. The Driver upholds the Mission of the school.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold and maintain a Valid California Driver's License (Commercial B preferred but not required), with no serious violations.
Be a reliable person of good character who shall possess the qualifications and communication skills necessary to perform the duties of the position, and comply with the rules set forth for drivers in all federal, state and local regulations.
Have a minimum of five years previous safe driving experience.
Have sufficient mechanical aptitude to recognize minor problems and report these problems.
Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative. …
