Job Summary
Under supervision of designated administrator, co-teaching with the Medical Back Office teacher, develops and facilitates effective instruction; evaluates progress; maintains proper classroom control and creates a supportive learning environment; assists in curriculum development.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess or be eligible for a CA Designated Subject Adult Ed credential in the appropriate subject area.
Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development Authorization
Required: a cover letter, a resume and three (3) current letters of recommendation (dated within the past year).

The following documents authorize teaching ESL in classes organized primarily for adults:
Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential that authorizes English as a Second Language
Designated Subjects credential with a Basic Education authorization (issued prior to 1995)
Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential with full CLAD authorization (e.g. ELA1) or Bilingual authorization
Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Instruction Credential* with full CLAD authorization (e.g. …
