Job Summary
All positions adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule, typically aligned with the school’s bell hours.
Positions Available:
Hayes Elementary - 5.33 Hours - 8:00am - 1:20pm
Herman Intermediate - 6 Hours 8:00am - 2:30pm
Please note: Daily start and end times include all required on-campus hours from Monday through Friday (including early dismissal days)
Job Description / Essential Elements
The primary purpose of this position is to provide specialized one-on-one services to an individual special education student. The assistant will be responsible for assisting a certificated teacher by providing instructional support and childcare activities as prescribed. Employees in this classification receive direct to general supervision from a certificated teacher within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School diploma, plus either AA or higher degree, or 48 college units, or have passed the No Child Left Behind exam Transcripts or NCLB/ESSA Certificate/ IA Proficiency Test
Valid CPR/FIRST AID
